Actor Burt Reynolds, who died on Thursday aged 82, had a beneficial living relationship with his home's owner.
Reynolds had sold his Florida estate to investor and friend Charles Modica in 2015, and the generous long-time neighbor allowed him to stay there for the rest of his life.
Owner Modica doesn't intend to sell the home. Reynolds had originally bought it back in 1980 for $700k and later put it on the market after a series of financial crises.
Modica bought the 3-acre property, 5 bedroom, 7 bath home with the intention of letting the famed 'Smokey and the Bandit' and 'The Cannonball Run' actor live there, saying to TMZ that it would be too traumatic for him to move.
So it's likely the home will be rented out, and there should be no shortage of takers. Will a Florida Lotto jackpot winner step forward and be part of a piece of film history by leasing the home?
