Read MoreShane Missler of Tampa, Florida, came forward to claim the $450 million Mega Millions jackpot which he won in the January 5, 2018 draw.
The young 20-year-old Florida man is the only winner of the jackpot. The Port Richey resident bought the winning ticket from a 7-Eleven service station in Pasco County, Florida.
He bought the tickets using money he won previously from a scratch-off lottery ticket.
It is the fourth largest jackpot in the 21-year history of the Mega Millions and the second largest jackpot won by a single ticket. Missler has selected the lump sum payout of $281.2 million.
He purchased five quick-pick Mega Millions tickets and one was the winner. The money will be paid to a trust, set up with Missler as the managing member, called ‘Secret 007, LLC’ reported the Daily Mail.
