Disasters happen, but it’s rare for them to affect a lottery draw. But here are three bloopers that led to a crash that could have been serious.

This New Zealand woman got an unexpected shock with the burst of tickertape silver confetti that came down after she won a 'Winning Wheel' $100,000 prize in this live nationally televised video. And don't worry, she was fine afterwards.

You've heard of drive-through. Now there's crash-through. A woman accidentally stepped on the accelerator instead of the brake when trying to visit Don's Food Market in Emmaus and entered the store around 9am.

Luckily she was stopped by a large lottery machine that prevented the regular customer going any further and destroying the rest of the store interior.

There were no injuries but the front of the store was extensively damaged.

Selling lotto tickets is not normally a risky job.

But on his way to work a blind lottery ticket seller fell into an uncovered manhole in Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City, and was heard calling for help.

A group of workers were able to get 33-year-old Nguyen Van Thanh out, and take him to a local hospital with multiple injuries.

Doctors said none of the injuries to his head or limbs were life threatening.

The best part of this story? Passers-by reportedly bought all of his 60 lottery tickets which had got completely wet in the accident.
