Lottery Winner, 63, Had Three Minutes To Fill His Grocery Cart With Free Goods

It’s a novel idea. You have three minutes to fill your grocery cart up to the prize value of $750. But the Virginia Lottery’s Mega Grocery Shopping Dash was a painful time for winner Jeff Marsten of Stafford County. He had injured his back in a car crash on Friday.

However, it didn’t stop him grabbing $542 worth of groceries in the dash. The game was inspired by “Supermarket Sweep,” a TV game show that featured a live, timed race through a supermarket.
