Two Modesto convenience stores said they've been the target of smash-and-grab thieves after one thing -- lottery scratcher cards.
Two separate businesses said they were targeted this week reported KCRA News. Surveillance shows suspects breaking in between 5 a.m. and 5:30 a.m.
Within 60 seconds the glass door is smashed, the lottery scratch card machine broken into, and the suspects stuff as many tickets into a bag before taking off.
