Europe's jackpot record broken with a £193 million win by unknown Italian player

A lucky Superenalotto player has scooped £193 million (US$232M) in Europe’s biggest ever lottery win.
The unnamed player from Italy has beaten the record set by former couple Colin and Chris Weir, from Scotland, who won £161 million on the Euromillions in 2011.
They bought a ticket for the Superenalotto draw, and managed to correctly guess six numbers between 1 and 90, reported Metro.
Colin and Chris Weir held the previous jackpot record after winning £161 million in the Euromillions in 2011.
The prize was so huge because it had rolled over for over a year, with nobody guessing the numbers correctly since June 2018. This time, the winning numbers were 7, 32, 41, 59, 75 and 76.
The lucky winner won bought their ticket for two euros at Marino’s bar in the city of Lodi near Milan in northern Italy.
