A Grandmother from South Ockendon in Britain got a double surprise recently. Vera Webber mistakenly thought her Euromillions prize was only £20,000, but found it was £1 Million (about US $1.6 million) after her daughter checked the numbers. Then the keen Elvis Presley fan was presented with her publicity check by an Elvis impersonator. She intends visiting the King's shrine at Graceland, USA.

Green Island’s new $250,000 spray park at the Paine Street Park, New York was built with a donation from State Lottery winners John and Linda Kutey in honor of their parents. The Kuteys donated $200,000 to construct the spray park. John Kutey was one of seven employees who cashed in a $319 million winning Mega Millions ticket in 2011. His share was $28.7 million.
Lottery winner Andrew Garth wondered how to spend his Euromillions £1 Million (about US$1.6 million) jackpot. The Middlesbrough, UK resident decided to have his caricature drawn by local artist Mick Hollinsworth, and posed with his check (that's a cheque in British terms).
We're not sure why. Good likeness though.

"I'm a lucky person," said Thuy Nguyen, who has owned Jenny's Gift & Kids Wear in San Jose, California for just four months.
And no wonder.
The location of the world's biggest jackpot - the USA Mega Millions prize of $656 Million - is shown in this map of the United States. The mega game was drawn in March 2012 and claimed by three separate winners.
